The Heartbeat

The children are the heartbeat of the body of Christ
They are after God's own heart
Children are simple and steady....very much alive
Without their energy, youthfulness, simplicity, trust, and faith, the heart would stop beating and the Body of Christ would surely die.

Healthy Heart

Their simple faith and trust puts them at the very heart of God Himself
Their love and caring ways display the very heart of God
Have you ever had a child run into your arms just for a great big hug? That my friend is God's love.

While we tend not to think of our own hearts beating physically and how important it is, once diseased or weakened it becomes a gnawing and constant worry.
When there is something wrong with it we know it.
If it becomes diseased or not functioning properly the whole body becomes sick and lethargic.
Foreign bodies of disease enter the body through different origins, left unprotected, and attack the heart.

Is the lethargic feeling of the Body of Christ the result of the Heart (the children) being neglected and unnoticed?
Is the effectiveness of the Body of Christ and the energy and youthfulness being drained away by a sick, unhealthy heart?
Is it due to the heart that has been under attack by the enemy for years and years, going unnoticed? Now does that neglect show up as an ineffective and unhealthy Body of Christ?

The heart is at the mercy of the Body of Christ to be protected and kept healthy by the actions and maintenance of the Body.
The heart has to be encompassed and engulfed by the Body of Christ just as the rib cage surrounds and protects the human heart.
By God's design, He has placed the children inside the Body of Christ to be protected and cared for, and grow stronger.
By God's design, He has placed His most precious vital part of the Body of Christ, the children, at the mercy of the rest of the Body.

A healthy heart inside the body is a functioning heart, carrying blood supply to all major organs of the body.
The healthy heart of the Body of Christ must be allowed to function inside the Body so that the Blood of Jesus can always flow to every vital organ and the body complete the task that is set before it.
The children must be allowed to take their rightful place and begin the ministry of the work of our Lord Jesus. The heartbeat must begin and go on forever.
Ask God, what is the rightful place and function of your children inside the Body of Christ? He will answer.
